I 'm obsessed with symbolism. I've spent countless hours studying it. I love it all~ numbers, religious and cultural symbols, astrological and metaphysical ones~ and I'm definitely extremely intrigued in the connection between humans and the natural world. As a lot of mythological traditions point out, the forces of nature have some incredibly human-like qualities. And certain humans are definitely forces of nature in their own right. All these concepts come together for me visually, and thus, this style of painting came to be.
